For those of who are aware, and those of you who aren’t aware, the Bleach anime is coming to an end in March 2012. You can check getsuga’s blog for more information. Despite the manga being on it’s final arc, the Fullbring arc will be the final arc in the anime. 

I am very shocked and disappointed by this. I know Bleach has had its low ratings in the past and especially now with this arc, but this series has been so life-changing for me; I’ve very disgusted that they’re ending this anime so suddenly and without any indication to the fans until literally a month before it’s supposed to end. However, even though Pierrot’s dropping it, that doesn’t mean that other studios like BONES for example can’t pick it up. If we can show these companies just how much that Bleach means to us, maybe we can convince them to animate the last and final arc for us. Bleach deserves a lot more than this. It deserves to have a proper ending, not some bullshit rushed last minute tie-up. 

I’m asking you guys to spread this around Tumblr, make your voices heard, get everyone aware of this. I may be only one person, but if we get enough people, then maybe just maybe something can be properly done about this. I’ve seen this done to so many decent animes in the past and I just hate to see Bleach suffer the same fate, because it’s such a great, enticing story. Bleach has saved my life, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Let’s show them that Bleach deserves a better fate than this. Let’s show them that Bleach is as good as any other anime out there, maybe even better. Let’s make our voices heard.
